Sucriers were used at a bar or bistro to hold sugar cubes used in the ritual to sweeten the taste of the bitter absinthe. Tastes for an individual sometimes varies from 1 to as much as 3 cubes. This sucrier is an exact reproduction of a late 19th century sugar holder.
 
Features
  • Glass bowl is mouth blown and stand is hand-made.
  • Metallic plating over brass.
  • Stands 15.5" tall overall, with the base 6" in diameter.
