Works great, once you get the technique down... Place your sugarcube over the hole at the bottom (it's about 1mm), then carfully place your ice cubes over it so that the sugar remains directly over the hole. I think crushed ice would be better. Then slowly pour in a small amount of water, and wait a minute or two for the sugar to saturate. Then you can pour your water in about an ounce at a time, and it will slowly drip. It's great when I only want one or two glasses; the fountain I got from you is wonderful when I have friends over or I just want to "tie one on"..... but it's eats ice like a glutton (room temp in Louisiana tends to melt the ice pretty quickly), and too much if I just want a nightcap. I was surprised by the sturdy, thick glass... this isn't fragile at all.
Thanks again for another great addition to my collection!
