Description

This very rare green topette was originally used as a vessel to serve absinthe in a bar. The bartender or waiter would give the customer a full topette of absinthe. Once the topette was returned to the bartender, he would then know how much to charge the customer by the amount of absinthe missing from the bottle. Each of the rings, or marks, are typically a 30ml dose. The rings sometimes varied in size due to the size of the glass used.
